One service for different needs

Accessibility

There will be one main version of Ramara Helps. It will support screen readers, keyboards, zoom, and slow connections. It is also for people who do not use websites often.

What the site will support

  • Clear headings and plain language
  • Keyboard and screen-reader use
  • Large, visible controls and focus
  • Text zoom and narrow screens
  • Reduced motion and low-bandwidth access

What we will not require

  • An account for basic intake
  • A photograph or public biography
  • A puzzle CAPTCHA
  • Dragging, autoplay, or a timed session
  • A diagnosis to ask for another way to communicate

Getting help without the website

Some residents use landlines or have poor mobile service. Others want help with a form. We need trained people, open hours, clear consent, and safe records before we offer another way. It is not active yet.
